2. Once it is on: the fit check
I can slide one to two fingers under every strap, standing and sitting.
The front legs reach forward and out to the side freely; no strap crosses the front of the shoulders.
The girth strap sits behind the front legs, not pressing into the elbows or the ribs.
The neck opening sits near the top of the breastbone, not against the throat.
When I gently pull backwards on the lead, the dog cannot slip out.
